Complaint: Learning Difficulties
Age: 6
It has been a month since "K" finished the final stage of the SAS course. I am very pleasantly surprised. "K" is receiving praise in preschool because his approach to desk work has changed. He writes and draws willingly and doesn't constantly run away from the table.
Regarding his speech, I mentioned before that there is a clear improvement in the fluency of his sentence construction. But what delighted me most is that he has started to hear individual sounds (phonemes). We had trouble learning to read, but after the course, he can already put together a 3-letter word. You have to start somewhere, and for us, this is already a huge success.
Another aspect where I’ve noticed improvement is concentration — which you’ve probably already gathered from my previous comment. Focusing on a task or on play is no longer just for a moment, but for long minutes. :) Building LEGO without instructions used to be unattainable; now he invents complex structures and vehicles himself.
As a mom, I am so happy I decided on this course. The fact is, we have many additional activities during the week: speech therapy, neuro-speech therapy, SI (Sensory Integration), and pedagogical sessions, but somehow it all just wouldn't "click" together. This course was the stimulus we needed, and suddenly everything started to work in harmony.
Boy, 6.5 years of age.
